East African Elementary Magnet School will be moving to an 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. schedule for the 2025-26 school year. This change is being made for a variety of reasons. As we continue to add middle school students, this change aligns our East African Magnet School with the majority of the district’s other middle schools for afterschool activities, athletics and other school programs.
I apologize for any inconvenience, and hope that letting you know about the change so early in the school year will help you plan for the fall. Transportation information for the fall will be available in mid-August.
