Ms. Perrault

Hello! I am an English as a Second Language teacher. My name is Ellen M. Perrault, students call me Ms. E.

This is my fifth year of teaching. Before coming to East African Magnet School, I taught at Maxfield, Frost Lake and Bruce Vento elementary schools. 

Teaching is an additional career. I earned a B.A. from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth and a M.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in communication. I have worked in the field of communication for more than 35 years. The skills I have built over my career are very useful as I work with students as they build their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in English. 

I attended Hamline University in St. Paul for my classwork for a teaching license. I am grateful to the wonderful teachers and classmates who were part of my journey to become a teacher.
